Cary Posavitz has been performing professionally since the age of 17 in a variety of shows and venues all over the world. He was the first American vocalist to be cast in Riverdance, the Irish Dancing international phenomenon. In the USA, Cary starred in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, had lead roles in Cruisin? ?57 for Dick Clark Productions, The Magnificent Gospel Showcase for Sky Television, was featured entertainer for Regency, Radisson, Celebrity Cruise Lines, and the Showboat Branson Belle, as well as being featured with the sensational Celtic Womanfor their PBS Television Special and DVD release.
Cary is currently fronting his highly successful band, Cary Posavitz and the Players, performing across Ireland and abroad, and can be seen every week at the historic Shelbourne Hotel’s Sunday Jazz Brunch from noon to 3, featuring Michael Behan (guitar), Andrew Csibi (bass), and Kevin Brady (drums). As well, Cary performs weekly at the Westin Hotel Mint Bar’s Thursday night “Gin and Jazz” from 9 to 11:30, featuring Andrew Csibi (bass) and Phil Ware (keys).
